The land at the end of the rainbow
Lara is eleven and for the first time she is allowed to stay alone at home in Sweden for a few days because of her upcoming swimming competition, instead of going with her parents and little sister to her grandmother's birthday in southern Germany. All this is actually exciting enough for her, but then she unexpectedly meets a colorful parrot in the garden of her parents' house, who amazingly talks like a human and asks her for help.
Something is wrong in Pinky's home, the land at the end of the rainbow: the rainbow clocks that are so important for the rainbow parrots have disappeared - and with them, the chief of the colorful tribe. Lara embarks on an adventurous journey with the clumsy Pinky that takes them not only to a Swedish national park and the magical land at the end of the rainbow but also centuries through time - to monks and witches, a stately castle, and enchanted gardens. Will the two manage to save the rainbow world?
